  • To rent an item, simply browse through our listings, select the item you're interested in, and hit the book now button. Once the owner accepts the booking, you will receive a confirmation. After enjoying your rental, return it to the owner at the agreed-upon time.

  • Listing your items on CL Rec Rentals is easy! Click “List my rental”, Fill out the questionaire form for the item you wish to rent out providing details such as description, availability, and rental price. Once you have submitted the form, we will reach out to confirm all details and get your listing active on the site. Once your listing is live, interested renters can start renting out your item and you get paid!

  • Owners set their own rental prices based on factors such as the item's condition, market demand, and local competition. Prices are displayed per day or per hour, depending on the owner's preference.

  • Some owners may require a deposit to cover any potential damages or late returns. The deposit amount, if applicable, will be specified on the listing page.

  • Yes, the security deposits are refundable pending the rented equipment is returned in the same condition as when it was rented. The security deposit is held to ensure the safe return of the owners equipment and to cover any potential damages or loss. As long as the equipment is returned undamaged and in the same condition as it was rented, the security deposit will be refunded in full.

  • Renters are responsible for returning rented items in the same condition they received them. If an item gets damaged during your rental period, you may be liable for repair or replacement costs, as outlined in our terms of service.

  • Yes, you can cancel a rental reservation, but cancellation policies may vary depending on the owner. Be sure to review the cancellation policy listed on the rental listing before making a reservation.

  • If an owner cancels your rental reservation, you will receive a full refund, and CL Rec Rentals will assist you in finding an alternative rental option if possible.

  • Yes, for safety reasons, renters must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Some equipment may have specific age restrictions, which will be outlined during the booking process.

  • Making a reservation is easy! Simply visit our website and select the equipment you'd like to rent. Choose your desired rental dates and times and follow the prompts to complete your booking securely online.

  • No prior experience is necessary! We provide basic instructions and safety guidelines before you head out on the water. Our staff will ensure you feel comfortable and confident before you embark on your adventure.

  • CL Rec Rentals does not provide insurance for rented items. Owners and renters are encouraged to communicate and agree on any insurance coverage or liability issues before completing a rental transaction.

  • We understand that accidents can happen. Minor wear and tear are expected, but significant damage or loss may result in additional charges. Please report any damage or issues with the equipment as soon as possible so we can assess the situation and make arrangements for repair or replacement.

  • Yes, for the safety of all our customers and to ensure responsible use of our equipment, we require proof of a valid Driver's License (DL) and a CL Property Owners Association (POA) card at each booking for our rentable equipment. This helps us verify the identity and eligibility of renters. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this requirement, as it helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone

  • We suggest all the items you would need for a day on the lake such as sunscreen, beach towels, sunglasses, hat, water bottle, and snacks. If you do not have an item, please contact us and we will see if we can assist.
